Vision or plan for entrepreneurship education
The school has a speciel room for entrepreneurship education (Det Skæve Rum/The Crooked Room) that we think of as a room of possibilities.
All our students from age 6-16 use the room to generate new ideas conducted by a facilitator.
We arrange innovation camps for different groups (students, teachers, parents and firms).
Resources to encourage and support entrepreneurship education
We have received special funding from Aalborg municipality/city council and JA-YE Denmark.
Focus on student centred learning, integration in different subjects
Innovation camps have been carried out for the subject Danish. Innovation camps are currently being planned for the following subjects: Maths, social sience, physics and chemistry. Some of our camps focus on the development of cross-disciplinary competences.
We have partnershisp with local companies, who formulate problems for students to work with. After the camp students present their solutions to the company.
Evaluation of entrepreneurship education and learning and by whom
The school has conducted the following main types of evaluation:
A blog for evaluation (in Danish): http://innospot.skoleblogs.dk/. The blog contains different types of information about our work.
A master student from Aalborg University evaluated our project for his final dissertation. He described learning processes in the Crooked Room and how to start innovative processes in a school.
