Vision or plan for entrepreneurship education
We are concerned about having a school characterized by a clear structure and room for creative expression. We use entrepreneurial methods on all students to train their entrepreneurial skills. JA-YE Norway´s program “Pupils Enterprise” is used in elective subjects while “Innovation camp” is used on all students.
Who is responsible for communicating the plan and did you get any reactions?
We have separate teachers responsible for the programs we use in entrepreneurship in education. These are the ones responsible for informing about the project periods within the school, towards the parents and other involved people or businesses in the local community. Both students and parents gives positive feedback on using programs based on “learning by doing“ and that gives students the opportunity to use their creativity and enthusiasm.
Resources to encourage and support entrepreneurship education
When we use entrepreneurial programs like “Innovation camps” and “Pupils Enterprise program” we involve the local community in the projects and the local JA-YE office is good support.
Focus on student centred learning, integration in different subjects
The school is aiming on getting a more and more student centered learning and an increasing part of the teachers are acknowledging “learning by doing” as a good strategy for learning. We are using “learning by doing” increasingly as a cross curricular method and in elective subjects.
Evaluation of entrepreneurship education and learning and by whom
We use a student survey to verify the learning outcome of the students and to see if the students are satisfied with the way we organize a more student centered learning.

We used media when we participated in First Lego League.
Additional comments
We have been working with programs stimulating student’s entrepreneurial skills for some years. It takes time to develop good programs and establish “learning by doing” as a common strategy for learning. We are looking forward to getting more ideas through this project.
