Vision or plan for entrepreneurship education

1. Preparation of youth to enter the job market

Resources to encourage and support entrepreneurship education

The school participates in Polish nationwide programs regarding such entrepreneurship programs like: My Finance Economy in Practice Company Programme Job Shadow Day

It is also sets forth its own initiative by organizing for example contests regarding Effectively Searching for a Job, during which there is a very close cooperation with the local job market.

Focus on student centred learning, integration in different subjects

At school there are a lot of activities through which students learn through practice. They have a monthly career training program within the teaching program, The school has a very close cooperation with the local community in order to jointly prepare the future working staff for local firms. The school searches for resources in order to equip the work area with vital equipment and gear needed to teach about certain fields. This type of approach is applied to most subjects; mainly career focused and entrepreneurial.

Through participation in competitions concerning entrepreneurship and career focused subjects.

The media patron of the competition Effectively Searching for a Job is the local television and newspaper. They prepare and publish materials about this topic. The similar case is with other initiatives which are taken part in, and organized by our school.

Additional comments

Education for entrepreneurship is very important for proper economical development, and in particular for such small towns like ours. In order to prevent emigration from such regions it’s important to help the youth be independent economically to the greatest extent possible. Thus, we are open to new methods and propositions.
