Self-evaluation is the key to continuous development. Even though it can be done in more informal ways, on a daily basis, by answering questions like "Have I learnt something new? Have I improved my technique in any way?", it is very important to have a tool which gives you a more spherical idea of whether you are heading to the right direction in your work. This is definitely the right tool for the job!
