JA Our City introduces students to the basics of financial literacy, the characteristics of cities, and how people and businesses in cities manage their money.

Students will explore zoning found within a city; the importance of money to a city, paying taxes, and how people use different methods to pay for goods and services. They also will explore how financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and news media contribute to the financial well-being of a city.

When we are very young, enjoying stories is a great way to understand and cope with the bustling and sometimes scary adult world around us. In this programme early years student begin to learn about the world of work and take the first steps in understanding the importance of saving, earning, decision making and teamwork.Ourselves introduces young children to the economic roles of individuals. Compelling stories read by a volunteer and hands-on activities teach students about helping, working, and earning and saving money. Ourselves is a series of five activities recommended for students in kindergarten.

Our Families introduces students to entrepreneurship and how family members' jobs and businesses contribute to the well-being of the family. We all know what we want. But what do we really need? If you were marooned on a desert island without your mum, dad and relatives an iPad might suddenly not seem so important.

Based on the experiences of a Cypriot Lyceum, 'Live training' describes a teaching method aimed at moving away from traditional teacher-student frameworks and standards such as: "I teach, you learn... I act, you imitate!" which eventually ends up as: "I'll tell you what to do, so that you won't do it wrongly!" It is about teaching based on continuous interaction with students.

An innovative social enterprise project, based on the potential of the region's 'Bicycle Tourism' sector; it was designed by an Italian school as a means of equipping young people at greatest risk of dropping out with entrepreneurial and employability skills.  It focuses on key issues to do with sustainable mobility: local marketing; the tourism business related to cycling; communication/media.

A description of how an Italian school has established a number of international mini companies involving pupils and teachers in different countries. They learn about and analyse how to run a company and go on to discuss the similarities and differences involved in running a European company.

A cross-curricular, whole school enterprise project focusing on the creation of a silkprint (silkscreen) 'wallcarpet' for display in the school.

A reflection on the value of simulations and didactic games for developing students' motivation and entrepreneurial learning, based on the experiences of a Polish vocational school.

An activity developed and run by a Polish Vocational Education Centre over the past ten years, in which students take part in simulated qualification interviews for positions offered by local employers. It culminates in a school-to-school competition where the employers tell the students who they feel would have the best chance of being hired, based on their interview preparation and performance.
