Short Description
CECI is a Comenius Regio project between Delegación Territorial de Educación, Cultura y Deporteres de Cádiz (Spain) and the Municipality of Herning, Center for Børn og Læring (Denmark). The project was funded by the European Union, and lasted 2 years, from 2013 until May 2015.
The objective of the CECI-project was to promote creativity, innovation and growth of an entrepreneurial culture in primary and lower secondary schools. Thus preparing the schools to face the difficulties our countries are facing in relation to unemployment, student achievement and the need to work for a better and more fair world in relation to youth unemployment and increasing unequality.
The CECI-project aimed to provide teachers with the relevant skills, attitudes, methods and tools to implant a spirit of enterprise and creativity as well as to share knowledge, experience and ideas between the borders of the schools and regions. This was done by arranging and facilitating a series of training courses for a group of teachers from both regions as well as their headmasters.
